A community that cares.
Throughout its history, Columbia has maintained a high level of community involvement and care for fellow citizens.
In 2022, one former citizen, Dean Buntrock, made a major contribution to the town that has set into motion many revitalization efforts. Dean purchased and developed land for a new, state-of-the-art ballpark and an expanded park. He also acquired buildings to be refurbished for use by the community and established the Columbia Community Foundation with a large initial endowment. He set up a lasting legacy for the long-term benefit of this community.
We thank Dean and his team, along with all of the local citizens who work to make Columbia a thriving, caring community.
